Policies and procedures
What policies does you organisation need? Well it depends on want you to do. For example if you will working with Children or Vulnerable Adults you need to have policies in place to protect these individuals as well your staff and volunteers from malicious complaints, but if your organisation won’t be working with these groups then there is absolutely no reason to have these particular policies.
However, you need some polices that will help you to demonstrate to your users and funders that you practice “Good Governance” and are open democratic and accountable.

• Conflict Of Interest Policy
• Code Of Conduct Policy
• Complaints Policy
• Data Protection Policy
• Whilst Blowing Policy
• Health & Safety Policies.
This is not an exhaustive list but identifies some of the most commonly requested policies.
