Funding advice

E-communities provide ICT funding advice to the sector

ICT policy

We support the community and voluntary sector to write ICT policies, to help place a protective      measure in place for organisations that use IT

ICT Health Check

The result of the ICT Health-Check is an IT strategy for the group or organisation. This assesses where the group is now, where it wants to be, and how it can get there

ICT Strategic Advice

This will involve providing advice to groups or individuals on various aspects of ICT ranging from security, external threats, features of computers, and information on different broadband providers available on the market

Purchase IT equipment

We will explain different features of computer/laptops so groups will purchase equipment which meets their needs. We will also be able to help the organisation or group to purchase equipment at a reasonable price, and encourage the group to budget and to consider investing in a maintenance plan

Email accounts

Communication is developing and increasingly essential for the 21st century and the majority of businesses and organisations are very heavily reliant on ICT. We will help groups to set up personalized email accounts and training.

Bespoke websites

E-communities will work with organisations to develop their own website and  provide full training and continued support for future maintenance.

If you have any IT questions or would like to discuss IT projects contact the ICT development officer at CVS Rochdale.
